Privacy

Your details, your photographs, and how to get in touch about them.

Draft for review

Enquiry and booking retention, embedded-service cookies and international processing details still need confirmation before this notice is published.

Who we are

Kim Hardy Photography provides headshot and portrait photography from Unit B113, Fuel Tank, 8–12 Creekside, London SE8 3DX. Kim and Julia handle enquiries and sessions.

For a question about your personal information, email kimhardyphotography@gmail.com or call 07830 163 927.

Information we use

When you enquire or book, you provide contact details, your message and information about the session you’d like. Your session also creates photographs, gallery selections, correspondence and payment records.

Contact and session details help us answer you, arrange your shoot and provide your photographs. The proposed basis for these uses is taking steps at your request before a contract, or fulfilling that contract. Record keeping needed to meet legal obligations has a separate legal-obligation basis.

We need enough information to contact you and arrange the session. Please avoid including sensitive information in a general enquiry unless it is needed to discuss your requirements.

Services & website tools

Marketing and visitor statistics. We do not send marketing emails or use visitor statistics for our website reporting.

Client galleries. We use an online gallery service so you can view your photographs, save favourites and choose images for retouching.

Booking and enquiries. The forms on this website are provided by Light Blue. Information you submit through them is handled using that service.

Reviews. The reviews page loads a WiserReview widget to display published client reviews.

Maps. The studio page displays an interactive Google Maps location. Your browser connects to Google when this map loads.

External links. Instagram and other linked websites have their own privacy arrangements. They open when you follow their links.

Embedded services receive technical information when your browser connects to them and may use their own storage or cookies. Loading a form or review widget does not itself give consent to optional tracking.

Before publication: confirm the relevant email and payment services, embedded-service cookies, and any overseas processing and safeguards. The basis for displaying client photographs also needs to match the actual permission process.

Keeping your information

We keep a photographic archive indefinitely so you can return to select and order further images. This means there is no automatic deletion date for archived photographs. Contact Kim or Julia if you would like to discuss the images we hold or request deletion.

Before publication: confirm how long enquiry, booking and financial records are retained, and how archive retention and deletion requests are reviewed.

Your rights & questions

You can contact us to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, or deletion. Depending on the circumstances, you may also be able to restrict or object to a use of your information, or request a portable copy.

Where a use relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent. These rights depend on the information and the reason it is being used.

Please contact us first if something concerns you. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
